Founded in 2002 by Paul Hammond & Walt Brandt, Hammond & Brandt Builders has earned an excellent reputation for providing high-end construction services at a fair price. They have focused on working in Nashville’s most desirable neighborhoods and surrounding areas and have developed a thorough understanding of the Nashville market and what their clients are looking for.

Paul Hammond
FOUNDER
Paul Hammond is a Nashville native who, having grown up in the area Hammond & Brandt serves, has witnessed the amazing changes in the area over the past twenty years. Paul learned the construction business at a young age, spending countless Saturdays and summer days working on his family-owned rental properties. Paul spent his first years out of college working for Ernst & Young, LLP before transitioning to the construction business full time.
Paul and his wife, Emily, have been married for over twenty years and have four awesome kids - Ellie, Cooper, Cole and Tess, plus two cool pups, Bella and Duke. Paul and his family enjoy traveling, hiking, and being with their extended families.
Paul is a graduate of Lipscomb University, with a degree in Accounting.

Walt Brandt
FOUNDER
Walt Brandt is a Nashville native, growing up in the areas Hammond & Brandt serves. Walt loves the changes he’s seen in Nashville and feels a sense of nostalgia for the good old days too. Walt learned the construction business from his family and hands-on job experience in commercial construction and real estate. Walt’s values are grounded in hard work, common-sense and the ability to think through problems.
Walt feels honored to raise three sons, Morgan, Sidney and Aubrey, plus a German Shorthaired Pointer named Zoey. Walt enjoys the outdoors - hunting, fishing and anything close to the water.
Walt is a graduate of Lipscomb University, with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
